Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Three years of professional experience in public or business administration, political science, statistics, policy analysis, economics, or a related field.

Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Professional experience in public or business administration, political science, statistics, policy analysis, economics, or a related field will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To The Following
- Develop, implement, interpret, and write policies and procedures relative to agency programs and identify major policy issues requiring resolution.
- Respond to complex inquiries that require in-depth research, including state and federal laws and regulations, of agency policy and procedures while identifying major policy issues requiring resolution.
- Conduct in-depth research of issues in response to inquiries and assists in preparing expert oral or written responses on policy, agency data, and other programs including systems as appropriate.
- Serve as liaison with management to facilitate the administration of agency programs, accreditation, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct studies, maintains technical and statistical reports, and evaluates statistical data to provide management and identify problem areas and recommend corrective actions for agency programs, policy, and procedures.
- Analyze state and federal programs for implications and develops agency-specific strategies based on this analysis.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong aptitude in customer service and recordkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, to include excel and access beneficial.
- Analytical and report writing skills.
- Knowledge of accreditation and policy process.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Frequently communicate in person or by other means of technology.
- Spend a major portion of time using a computer.
- Work overtime or alternate work schedules
- Travel required (state vehicle provided).
