DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Aging Care Manager 1, you will manage a caseload, work with consumers and their family as well as other agencies to utilize all resources available to provide assistance to consumers. You will be required to learn and use the State reporting system. Work will be reviewed by an Aging Care Management Supervisor. After the successful completion of a six-month probationary period per union agreement, you will be reassigned to an Aging Care Manager 2 position.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- On-call hours and overtime is required.
- Potter County offers an excellent benefit package.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
- Three years as an Aging Case Aide 2; or
- A bachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by twelve (12) credits in social sciences, behavioral sciences, human services, or a closely related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

- Hiring preference for this vacancy will be given to candidates who live within Potter County. If no eligible candidates who live within Potter County apply for this position, candidates who reside in McKean, Tioga, Cameron, Elk, Clinton or Lycoming counties will be considered. If no eligible candidates who live within these counties apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties will be considered.

This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
