THE POSITION
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Your duties will also include user administration for various systems, both state and federal, in addition to supporting multiple internal systems that interface with the users' desktop hardware. Support is provided via telephone, email, in person, and remote sessions. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Both positions to be filled through this posting support PennDOT Driver License Centers that are open Monday through Saturday. Each position will have a different schedule, based on operational needs:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Tuesday – Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Travel to driver license centers will be required from time to time to support Driver & Vehicle Services personnel and equipment.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, on an ad hoc basis. The employee must request and secure the supervisor’s consent in advance of scheduling a day to telework. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
- One year as an Information Technology Trainee or Information Technology Technician; or
- One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or
- Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

This particular position also requires one or more years of full-time experience:
- With Active Directory.
- Imaging Windows workstations.
- Working user incidents through Incident Management software.
- Using Microsoft Configuration Manager console.
- With IT Asset Management.
- Providing mobile device management through Microsoft InTune.
- This particular position also requires you to possess a driver's license which is not under suspension.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
