DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position you will work within established guidelines and processes to serve as our office’s procurement coordinator and administrative coordinator, as well as complete tasks related to budget tracking and asset management. You will coordinate procurement and requisition activities for IT services and hardware, gather information from vendors and agency personnel related to IT program and project needs, and prepare and review related documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance. Your work will involve tracking expenditures in order to maintain an accurate balance of available funds for each budget and maintaining a list of Capitol assets, providing reports and documentation for both upon request.

Responsibilities also include serving as the application administrator and contact for a variety of applications used by our agency in order to manage subscriptions and licenses, providing general end-user support, and monitoring usage to ensure optimal utilization and compliance with agency provisions. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to four days per week, with one day per week in the office. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training. An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:
  • You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
