DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this important role, you will provide clerical support to the Bureaus within Comptroller Operations to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness. Your receptionist duties will include greeting visitors, answering phones, and assisting with the badging and parking programs. Clerical duties will involve receiving, sorting, and distributing Treasury checks and assisting in monitoring the Treasury Resource Account. You will have the opportunity to manage and distribute correspondence, letters, and financial statements. Our ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Office, accurately proofreading documents, and the ability to multitask and prioritize work.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- In office on site five days a week.
- Salary: All new hires to the Commonwealth will start at the minimum salary.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Necessary Special Requirements:
- You must possess keyboarding skills to meet standards for speed and accuracy.
- You must have the ability to take and transcribe dictation.
Additional Requirement:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Experience working with Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
