DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, your responsibilities will encompass the preparation and delivery of informative presentations to park visitors and various groups, focusing on topics related to the park's facilities, features, programs, and operational aspects. You will be tasked with patrolling the park's grounds, boundaries, and facilities to ensure safety and compliance with regulations, as well as managing traffic flow on roads, trails, and in parking areas. Additionally, you will be required to provide first aid, artificial respiration, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) during emergencies, engage in fire suppression efforts, and support search and rescue missions. Your duties will also involve inspecting buildings and park structures for potential safety hazards and verifying compliance with lease or permit conditions, along with drafting permit agreements. Furthermore, you may operate motorboats, utility terrain vehicles, and bicycles as part of your responsibilities. This work will be conducted under general supervision, with your performance being evaluated based on adherence to established policies, procedures, standards, and objectives. This position will also entail offering administrative assistance to the park office, which includes responding to phone inquiries, managing emails, and providing support to visitors. The responsibilities associated with this role encompass a variety of tasks, such as drafting correspondence and reports, handling reservations, issuing permits, and collecting fees.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Seasonal, full-time employment without benefits.
- Will work 5 days per week 37.5 hrs/shifts-days will vary based on operational needs, to include holidays and weekends.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Special Requirements:
- You must possess an active motor vehicle license.
- You must obtain valid certification in standard first aid and adult, child, and infant CPR approved by the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or equivalent within 60 days of employment.

- You must pass a background investigation.

This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
