DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The Administrative Assistant 1 plays a crucial role in supporting the Administrator of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit by managing various administrative, confidential, and clerical tasks. Responsibilities include analyzing operations, developing reports, maintaining confidential records, and assisting in budget preparation and program evaluations. The assistant also facilitates liaison activities by communicating with service providers and government officials, organizing meetings, and ensuring efficient coordination among unit managers and supervisors. Moreover, the assistant carries out administrative assignments that involve researching and making recommendations for the advancement of agency programs while maintaining secure management of sensitive consumer information.
In addition to administrative duties, the role involves managing correspondence and scheduling meetings, ensuring the Administrator's calendar is meticulously maintained. The assistant prepares meeting materials, documents minutes, and coordinates training sessions and internal workshops. Proficient in various software applications, the assistant also performs clerical tasks such as drafting letters, processing registrations, and preparing reports. Overall, the position requires a high level of initiative, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills to support the day-to-day operations of the unit effectively.
Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
