As an Administrative Officer 1 you will manage incident data, develop and maintain reports, ensure compliance with regulations, and coordinate with various agencies and organizations to uphold program standards, especially for Wayne County Early Intervention and Developmental Programs. Your work will be essential for ensuring the continuation of programs and funding through the continued efforts of our administrative office to stand as a neutral, conflict-free, intermediary amongst the provider network, consumers, families, advocates, and other community stakeholders.


The responsibilities of this role will rely on your proficiency in data analysis and report generation, a strong understanding of policies and regulations related to developmental programs, excellent communication and coordination skills, and the ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Employees may have overnight travel or out of County travel for meetings or training. Often irregular hours, including evenings.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and a bachelor's degree; or any equivalent combination of experience and training..


Other Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.


Legal Requirements: 

  • You must pass a background investigation.
  • A conditional offer of employment will require drug screening.
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
    • Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
