DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Aide Trainee, you will be responsible and accountable for learning the duties of a Residential Services Aide and begin with a paid in-classroom and on-the-job training program.
You will learn how to care for and assist people with Intellectual Disabilities living at the Selinsgrove Center. Upon successful completion of a six-month probationary period as an Aide Trainee, you will be promoted to a Residential Services Aide.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :

- Work hours during training : 1st shift 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM
- Work hours after training : 2nd shift 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM
- Rotating schedule.
- Travel and overtime as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements :
No previous experience needed, training provided.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements :
- A conditional offer of employment will require satisfactory completion of a medical examination and drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
