THE POSITION
Are you interested in discovering more about the laboratory division of the Department of Agriculture? This role plays a crucial part in assisting the laboratory division by preparing samples of feed, fertilizer, lime, and hemp for analytical testing.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This role is situated within the Bureau of Food Safety and Laboratory Services, specifically in the laboratory division. The individual in this position will be responsible for receiving, preparing, and extracting samples for laboratory analysis. Additionally, this role will provide support to Microbiologists and Chemists in their efforts to analyze these laboratory samples effectively.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
Full-time employment (Limited Term - approximately 9 months) without benefits
Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements :
Completion of 60 college credits including nine credits in chemistry.
