DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Clerk Typist 3, you will support the Cambria County Behavioral Health & Developmental Supports Program by providing vital services to various internal units such as the Base Service Unit (BSU), Intake & Evaluation Processes, Blended Case Management (BCM), Child & Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP), Intellectual Disabilities (ID), Early Intervention (EI), Fiscal Department, Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) Administrative Wing, and any other programs that may be initiated by the agency. You will work closely with the BH / ID and EI program Administrative Assistant to oversee efficient, complete, and accurate work from the clerical pool that supports the above programs. You will also serve as back-up to the Administrative Assistant which involves tracking office supplies, preparing supply order forms for processing, and general maintenance of office equipment.
Additional duties of this position entail providing on-the-job orientation and training to other clerical staff, as well as utilizing county software programs to aid in payroll processing. Other duties may include obtaining and processing information from client phone calls, maintaining a master file of active clients, and updating clerical procedural manuals. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as you will be engaging with staff, clients, and visitors on a daily basis.
Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
