DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Community Health Nurse, you will play a crucial role in fulfilling the Department of Health's mission of providing infrastructure for the implementation of core public health functions in a high quality, effective and responsive manner that will positively impact the health status of Pennsylvanians. In addition, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating school health services and initiatives using Division of School Health guidelines, manuals, laws and regulations, and Bureau of Community Healthy Systems (BCHS) All Access Sharepoint site to ensure compliance with school health laws and regulations, as well as providing direct public health services and community liaison activities.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework : You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office.
- Headquarters will be determined by the selected candidate's location and may be within one of the following counties : Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Forest, Jefferson, Lawrence, McKean, Mercer, Venango, or Warren.
- Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
