DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Corrections Utility Plant Operator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and functionality of the institution. This position requires a high level of responsibility and attention to detail, as you will be supervising inmates and ensuring their safety. You will also be responsible for operating boilers and generating steam for the facility. It will be essential to follow safe operating procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a secure environment for both inmates and staff. Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 2 : 00 PM to 10 : 00 PM, Tuesday - Saturday.
- This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
- Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
