JOB SUMMARY
The Corrections Utility Plant Operator will supervise inmates, maintain proper security, and ensure work is performed under safe operating procedures for boiler operations and generation of medium pressure steam. The operator will analyze situations and problems, provide appropriate resolutions, and maintain efficient operations under normal and emergency conditions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operate and maintain auxiliary equipment
- Maintain logs of tests performed
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- Three years of experience in the operation, maintenance, and repair of a steam or hot water generating plant, or a steam and electric generating plant
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA
- Ability to perform essential job functions
- Pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements
