What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver License Center Supervisor (Jeannette) position at Commonwealth of Pennsylvania?
You will actively promote and uphold the Safety Administration’s Customer Service Policy, ensuring that all interactions with customers are conducted with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. It will be your responsibility to implement oversight and audit measures to prevent identity fraud and theft within the Driver License Center. Conflict resolution will also be a key aspect of your role, as you will manage disputes among customers, partners, and staff, ensuring clarity and agreement on the priorities and tasks of the driver examination team. Furthermore, you will ensure that performance standards and objectives for the staff are met and that compliance with the Safety Administration’s customer service policy is maintained.
Your supervisory duties will extend to overseeing the administration of various vision tests, including telebinocular and color perception assessments, as well as managing driving tests conducted on designated test sites or roadways. You will also supervise oral, visual, and written examinations related to the Vehicle Code and traffic sign interpretations. In addition, you will analyze statistical data, maintain accurate records, and prepare detailed reports while managing the inventory of materials and equipment. It will be essential to ensure that employees are punctual and prepared to assist customers at the designated opening time of the center, as well as to oversee daily assignments for all staff members.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 80 hours bi-weekly
- Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Driver License Examiner (commonwealth title); or
- Two years of experience as a Driver License Examiner Assistant (commonwealth title); or
- Three years of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C Driver’s License or equivalent and twenty-one years of age at the time of application.
- This position requires no suspensions or revocations of a driver’s license during the five-year period immediately preceding employment.
