What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver License Examiner Assistant (Bridgeville) position at Commonwealth of Pennsylvania?
In this role, you will engage directly with customers to confirm their identification, ensure the accurate completion of application forms, and input data into the online driver license application system. You will administer standardized knowledge assessments to gauge the applicants' comprehension of the Vehicle Code, driving regulations, and relevant traffic control devices. Additionally, a vision screening will be conducted for all applicants utilizing a telebinocular instrument to assess visual acuity.
You will be responsible for entering the results of applicant tests and customer applications for driver license services into online software systems via a PC terminal. It is essential to strictly follow all components of the Driver and Vehicle Services’ Customer Service Policy. Furthermore, you will ensure that the appropriate fee waiver code is utilized and accurately documented whenever a fee waiver is required to facilitate a customer transaction, adhering to all stipulations outlined in the Fee Waiver Guidelines. Other related duties may also be assigned as necessary.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 80 hours bi-weekly
- Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This position may require overtime and travel.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.
