DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Facility Operations Supervisor, you will plan, oversee, and perform maintenance of buildings and grounds at the Southeastern Veterans' Center. You will schedule and assign work, monitor work orders for completion, and maintain employee time records. You will ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of vehicles used for the transportation of food and residents, as well as assist in road testing, diagnosing defects, and scheduling repairs needed to maintain the automotive and equipment fleet. This role requires using experience in various trades to help maintain the safety and efficiency of grounds, buildings, equipment, and machinery. In addition, you will i nterpret blueprints and specifications for new construction and renovation projects, respond to emergency maintenance calls, c onduct departmental meetings, and make quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) recommendations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Overtime as needed
- Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
