DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports as well as submit invoices for county, state, and federal reimbursement. Other responsibilities include maintaining accounting records, reviewing contracts, and participating in the development of our agency's County and State budget process. Your work will involve using Excel and QuickBooks, participating in and reviewing county audits, and performing other duties as needed. Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment
Work hours are 8 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements :
Three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or
One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Elk County. If no eligible candidates who live within Elk County apply for this position, candidates who reside in Cameron, Clearfield, Jefferson, or McKean counties will be considered. If no eligible candidates who live within these counties apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.

Legal Requirements :
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and a drug screening.
This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
