THE POSITION

The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is looking for Food Service Workers to become part of our committed team at the Mansion and Training Center at Kings Gap Environmental Education Center. In this position, you will be instrumental in meal preparation and service, contributing to a safe, clean, and inviting atmosphere for our guests. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will be responsible for preparing the dining area for meals by arranging tables, laying out tablecloths, and setting up tableware and condiments. You will assist the cook with food preparation and serve meals, coffee, and refreshments to guests using the Mansion and Training Center at Kings Gap Environmental Education Center. Additionally, you will maintain cleanliness in the dining room and break area by washing dishes, removing and cleaning linens, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces. You may also prepare guest bedrooms and bathrooms by changing linens, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting toilets, showers, and bathtubs. General housekeeping duties throughout the center will include cleaning restrooms and vacuuming.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Seasonal full-time employment
- Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
