DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a seasonal Forest Technician with DCNR, you will play a vital role in supporting the Division of Forest Health. You will control forest diseases, insects, and invasive plant species; establish monitoring sites; deploy traps; and conduct regular inspections and maintenance. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you effectively summarize and monitor your findings and test results .
You will aid in developing, implementing, and reporting statewide experimental projects. Collaboration with district staff and pilots will be crucial to streamline operations and ensure readiness for aerial surveys and other pre-flight activities. You will establish field study plots and create detailed reports with the necessary tools. Additionally, you will provide technical support to the Division of Forest Management to ensure forest health and sustainability.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Seasonal full-time employment without benefits; 37.5 hours per week.
Candidate will be scheduled to work 4 days per week.
