As a member of the psychology staff, you will play a crucial role in the treatment of consumers in a psychiatric hospital. Along with other members of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide psychological services to consumers and take into account their age, disability, and specific needs during interactions and treatment planning. In addition, you will perform independent and specialized clinical work, as well as provide didactic training and supervision for doctoral level clinical interns and practicum students. Through education and training, you will be equipped to provide high-quality care to consumers in need.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Special Requirement:

• You must possess a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology.

Other Requirements:

• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
  • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
