DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will be responsible for the oversight of the Norristown Nursing Facility Field Operations unit. This team is responsible for performing reviews of skilled nursing facilities' and Living Independence for the Elderly (LIFE) centers' clinical and fiscal records to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements, to include but not limited to the Minimum Data Set assessment, Pre-Admission Screening & Resident Review (PASRR), Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA) and Utilization Management Review.
This team's reviews cover the geographic area of Berks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. Your duties will include ensuring consistent review and supervision, serving as a resource for staff and evaluating care in accordance with nursing practice standards and consumer standards. You will collaborate closely with other supervisors to foster a supportive team culture and maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff. Your responsibilities will also include staff development and ensuring compliance with policies. Additionally, you will exercise independent judgment, drawing on your professional training, comprehensive job knowledge, and specialized expertise.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment
Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Telework : You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 5 days per week, reporting to the office as needed based on operational needs. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Norristown.
Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements :
Four years of professional experience in the field of medical assistance, health care services, or human services; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements :
All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
This position requires an active motor vehicle license.
Other Requirements :
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
