- DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Certified Nurse's Aide under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will provide care in the following areas: Skilled Care, Personal Care, Outpatient, and General Population. You will complete basic nursing skills and nursing procedures to maintain optimum inmate health and provide quality care and complete documentation as required. Duties include collecting specimens as directed by the Registered Nurse for urine, feces, and sputum. You will complete or assist inmates with daily living activities and hygiene to ensure basic physical care needs are met. In this position, you will participate in Life Skills programming by following nursing care plan order, providing care/interventions consistent with inmate's needs, and documenting on assigned aspects of nursing care plan. You will participate in emergency situations by performing emergency procedures as indicated, CPR, obstructed airway, and participating in emergency response drills as assigned.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week.
- Work hours: 2nd shift: 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm with every other weekend/holiday off.
- This position is eligible for full benefits at age 50 or 55.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry; or
- Six months of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients or residents.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
