DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Park Maintenance Worker, you will provide semi-skilled manual work in construction and maintenance at Moraine State Park Complex. Your duties will include performing ground maintenance by mowing or cutting weeds or grass, using a riding mower, hand mower, or weed eater. You will also be cutting firewood, picking up litter and trash, and loading and moving materials in dump trucks or pick-up trucks. You can expect to make repairs to buildings and facilities, using carpentry, electrical, and plumbing tools in the performance of this maintenance work. Additionally, you will operate and assist in the maintenance, care, and cleaning of vehicles and equipment used throughout the park.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Seasonal full-time employment without benefits. The season runs from approximately March until November, after which the employee is placed on leave without pay.
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, including weekends and holidays, with a 30-minute lunch. Your shift will vary on weekends.
- Limited overtime and travel for occasional trainings or assistance at other parks
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction;or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver’s license or equivalent.
