In this position, you will undertake a diverse range of responsibilities related to contracts for both operational and innovative materials and processes. Your tasks will encompass planning, coordinating, recommending, procuring, and assessing maintenance commodity contracts as well as innovative materials. Collaboration will be essential as you engage with district and county offices, along with various state governmental agencies, to oversee contracts for critical resources such as Road Salt, Poly Pipes, Aggregates, Guiderail, Asphalt, and other essential materials. You will also be responsible for delivering administrative training to district and county personnel, overseeing the statewide sampling and testing of roadway materials to ensure compliance with departmental standards, and aiding in the planning, coordination, and documentation of evaluations for new maintenance and winter service products. Furthermore, you will prepare detailed written reports or briefings on proposals and findings, communicate with various interested state and federal stakeholders, and provide support for Area Command readiness during activations or emergency operations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- This position may be eligible for Alternate Work Schedule (AWS).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience as a Roadway Programs Technician Supervisor (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration) or one year experience as a Roadway Programs Coordinator (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of professional experience in the analysis, development and implementation of methods and techniques used in a roadway maintenance management system and a bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or in a civil engineering related discipline; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
