In this position, you will provide semi-skilled manual work in the construction and maintenance within the Shikellamy State Park complex to include Shikellamy State Park, Shikellamy Overlook, Milton State Park, Susquehanna State Park, Adam T. Bower Memorial Inflatable Dam and the Shikellamy Nature-Like Fishway.
Your responsibilities will include completing minor repair tasks under general supervision, as well as assisting a journeyman tradesman or foreman with more complex maintenance jobs. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing preventative and operational maintenance on facilities and equipment, which includes tasks such as cleaning, basic repairs, and adjustments. You will also assist in the maintenance and operation of the inflatable dam, including patching holes and clearing debris. This role may also involve work within the control house and vault, as well as routine maintenance tasks that require the use of hand and power tools.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Seasonal Full-time employment without benefits.
- Shift hours and days vary due to operational need, with a 30-minute lunch
- Weekends, holidays, and all shifts as needed at 37.5 hours per week

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
