As a Social Worker 1, you will play a vital role in delivering a wide range of services and interventions to individuals with a primary mental health diagnosis. It will be crucial for you to ensure that these services are tailored and relevant to the diverse ages and backgrounds of the consumers. You will be tasked with identifying and exploring various options to address challenges and enhance the quality of the services, all while meeting the standards set forth by Medicare and other medical assistance programs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Work hours and schedule may change based on operational needs.
  • Overtime and travel as operationally necessary
  • FREE parking!

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • A bachelor's or master’s degree in social work or social welfare.
  • Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

 

Other Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

 

Legal Requirements: 

  • A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
    • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
