As a Stock Clerk 2, you will be responsible for receiving, examining, and recording the receipt of goods, as well as placing those goods in proper storage locations. It will be your duty to ensure supply levels are maintained and stock is replenished, while also rotating stock and supply areas according to usage and expiration dates. Additionally, you will maintain monthly usage figures, update and correct inventory records, and identify and report any discrepancies in inventory records. In this role, you will also assist in the identification, relocation, or disposal of surplus property. You will also be expected to operate forklifts, hand pallet trucks, electric pallet trucks, and box trucks.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: 

  • Full-time employment (7.5 hours per day; 37.5 hours per week)
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. 
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • One year of experience in stockroom, warehouse, or clerical work; and graduation from high school; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.


Additional Requirement:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.


Preferred Qualifications (not required):

  • Willing and able to work in Philadelphia County, PA
  • Willing and able to work a full-time schedule
  • Willing and able to work 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Possess education, such as a Master's degree, Bachelor's degree, Associate degree, some college, high school diploma, or equivalent
  • Experience in stores control work
  • Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack
  • Experience providing administrative support
  • Experience in purchasing and creating purchase requests, either in SAP/R3 system or with any other automated purchase (credit) card request system
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, such as Outlook, OneNote, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Publisher 


Legal Requirements: 

  • A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
    • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
