DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will conduct independent inspections of construction and bridge projects to ensure compliance, identifying any issues or concerns that arise. You will also engage in various technical responsibilities related to the inspection of materials and workmanship on highway construction projects within District 5, confirming that all work aligns with the established construction codes, plans, standards, and specifications. Your daily responsibilities will include monitoring transportation projects to ensure adherence to relevant regulations, policies, and procedures efficiently and cost-effectively. Furthermore, you will support project material evaluations at construction sites and district offices, ensuring compliance with source approvals, certification requirements, and testing protocols, while also verifying that vendors implement quality control plans and maintain appropriate documentation.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Seasonal full-time employment
- Work hours are 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- The headquarters location is 1002 Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA 18101; however, you could be assigned to a project site within Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton, or Schuylkill County.
