You will work independently, effectively performing skilled trades duties that involve repairing components; conducting structural welding on bridge elements; and resolving issues related to equipment frames, hitches, and plows. Furthermore, you will skillfully fabricate repair parts and body components for numerous applications. You will excel in this position if you have an extensive knowledge and experience in welding processes and techniques.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Travel, overtime, and shift work required. Work hours subject to change based on seasonal requirements and operational needs.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $39,785.00 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of experience in the operation and use of welding equipment, materials, and related shop equipment to repair, maintain, or fabricate parts, equipment, or structures; or
- Completion of a three-year, high school Vo-Tech training program in welding and eighteen months of experience in the operation and use of welding equipment, materials, and related shop equipment to repair, maintain, or fabricate parts, equipment, or structures; or
- Completion of an approved welder apprentice program; or
- A welding certificate D1.1 from the American Welding Society; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirement:
This position requires possession of an active Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
