Job Duties
Coordination of all centralized correspondence (including regional) for the DOC
(including regions) including communications funneled from Governor’s and Secretary’s Office. This position will manage the work of staff responsible for processing and responding to multiple correspondence and multiple mediums, coordinating with regional staff, ensuring appropriate and timely response, tracking, storage, reporting trends, data management of correspondence and communicating with executive staff regarding correspondence as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Extensive experience and knowledge with state and agency policies, procedures, regulations and Department administrative, management and operational systems. Experience managing the workload of staff. Excellent written and oral communications skills, advanced computer skills including comprehensive understanding of databases. Experience aligning and maintaining work group objectives with the Department’s mission and goals. Strong skills in multi-tasking and managing shifting priorities. Experience gathering and analyzing information, to compile information and determine recommendations and responses. Demonstrated ability to interact with diverse groups and develop professional working relationships to meet
objectives.
