Job Duties
Position supervises the activities of inmates in the preparation and serving of meals for staff and inmates. Trains inmates in sanitation and all kitchen policies and procedures. Maintains standards of food safety, sanitation, and quality in a cost efficient manner.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend policies and procedures. Demonstrated ability to monitor and supervise the work of others.
Additional Considerations
Previous experience working in a supervisory role. Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, cost controls and operating and repairing food service equipment. Basic knowledge of Microsoft office programs.
