Responsibilities of the EH&S Engineer:
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify and address workplace hazards.
- Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to safety policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS topics, including emergency response and hazard awareness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
Requirements of the EH&S Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, safety management, or other relevant technical field is required.
- 3 years proven experience in environmental, health, and safety (EHS) roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of EHS laws, regulations, and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
