CommQuest is currently seeking a Supported Employment Specialist for our Community-Based Services department. The Supported Employment Specialist provides vocational services to individuals with mental illness and/or substance use disorders, helping them secure and maintain competitive employment in the Stark County area. This role collaborates with clinical teams, employers, and community resources to support consumers' vocational goals.

CommQuest Services is one of the largest non-profit mental health, addiction recovery, and social services organizations in Northeast Ohio, working with clients from more than 34 counties in 12 facilities through more than 20 programs. We help people make positive changes in their lives through in-patient, outpatient and school-based programs, along with supportive services - from basic needs to employment assistance.

What you'll do:
- Provide vocational services, including engagement, assessment, job placement, and follow-along support.
- Work collaboratively with consumers, clinical teams, and employers to meet vocational objectives.
- Educate consumers on employment benefits and assist with resumes, job applications, and interview preparation.
- Conduct job development and job search activities tailored to individual preferences and skills.
- Ensure compliance with agency standards and complete all required documentation.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, required. Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Humans Services, or equivalent, preferred.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in employment training or related field, highly preferred.
- Requires a valid Ohio Driver's License, proof of auto insurance and use of personal vehicle.
- Must be willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and BCI/FBI background check
