Throughout the 12-week program, you will collaborate with some of the best in the industry, receive on-the-job training, participating in professional development workshops, executive speaker series, and other networking and social events!

How You’ll Help Us Connect the World

As a Summer Engineering Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience contributing to the design, development, and support of Category Copper cable technology. Working alongside our R&D Engineering team, you’ll take part in impactful projects, build your technical skills, and support key initiatives that drive our team’s success. This summer internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable industry experience, work on exciting projects, and develop skills that will serve you throughout your career.

You Will Make an Impact By

  • Collaborating as a team member of one or more development project teams.
  • Gaining hands-on experience with copper cable testing, material analysis, prototype samples, and assisting the Test Lab with qualification activities.
  • Preparing and updating technical documentation for project support.
  • Analyzing test data and providing statistical analysis to make data driven decisions.

Required Qualifications for Consideration

  • Junior or senior standing in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering at an accredited university.
  • Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Ability to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Are passionate about solving problems and implementing practical solutions.
  • Possess strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Bring a balanced approach to both hands-on technical tasks and data-driven analysis / reporting.
  • Have experience or coursework related to material properties and testing.
  • Proactively contribute innovative ideas and share them with the team.
  • Demonstrate strong initiative, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to shifting priorities effectively.
