Role : Technical Lead - Embedded Software Telecom
Location : Santa Clara CA – Onsite
Job Description : We are looking for a seasoned software engineer with a strong background in telecom, specifically in 4G networks, to drive the development and deployment of innovative solutions four our client. This role demands a combination of deep technical expertise in 4G core and stack, programming proficiency, and robust Linux systems experience.
Key Responsibilities
Telecom Expertise : Develop and maintain components of the 4G LTE stack, focusing on PCRF and other critical network elements.
Programming : Design, code, and debug in C and Go to create efficient and reliable software solutions.
Linux Systems : Develop and manage custom Linux distributions, including boot loaders and device drivers.
AWS Deployment : Deploy back-end applications on AWS using Helm charts and ensure scalability and reliability.
Networking Protocols : Implement and maintain OpenVSwitch and OpenFlow protocols for efficient network management.
System Optimization : Troubleshoot and optimize Linux-based systems to enhance performance and reliability.
Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that meet customer and business requirements.
Qualifications
Nice-to-Have Skills :
Familiarity with 5G networks and architecture.
Experience with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

In-depth understanding of PCRF components within the LTE stack.
Knowledge of OpenVSwitch and OpenFlow protocols.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with 5G networks and architecture.
