Senior Quality Control Inspector
Overview:
An established leader is seeking a Senior Quality Control Inspector with 5 years of experience in electronics assembly. The ideal candidate has expertise in ISO 9001 processes, PCB and mechanical parts inspection, and military or telecommunications amplifiers. Experience with system-level inspections and documentation is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of PCB and mechanical components.
- Perform First Article (FA) Inspections and document findings.
- Ensure compliance with dimensional, mechanical, and electrical specifications prior to shipment.
- Work with management to establish inspection and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain documentation for goods receipt, RMAs, in-line and final inspections, and compliance measurements.
- Develop and refine QC and QA procedures.
- Lead ISO 9001 re-certification efforts and prepare for future AS9100 certification.
- Create system-level documentation, including manuals and datasheets.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in electronics assembly and quality control.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards (certification preferred).
- Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and other measurement tools.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and tolerances.
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, and documentation software).
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
- Experience in military RF product inspection is a strong advantage.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
