Key Responsibilities
- Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all supplies and materials are adequately stocked.
- Process returns and exchanges in a prompt and polite manner, following company policies and procedures.
- Answer customer questions and provide information about products and promotions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations and a positive shopping experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent numerical ability and good understanding of basic math.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
