Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Communications Representative to join our team and play a key role in enhancing our organization's public image and engagement. This position involves developing and implementing communication strategies that effectively convey our mission, values, and initiatives to diverse audiences. As a Communications Representative, you will work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to craft compelling messages across various platforms, including social media, press releases, newsletters, and presentations.

Salary Range: $21.00 - $31.00 hourly

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic communication plans to enhance the organization's public image.


• Write and edit content for various platforms, including press releases, articles, and social media posts.


• Collaborate with teams to create promotional materials and presentations that align with organizational goals.


• Monitor media coverage and analyze public sentiment to inform communication strategies.


• Organize and facilitate events, workshops, and community engagement activities.


• Assist in crisis communication efforts, crafting appropriate responses and strategies.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.


• Proven experience in a communications or public relations role, preferably in a nonprofit or government setting.


• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.


• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools.


• Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform communication strategies.
