PURPOSE/BELIEF STATEMENT
The Clinical Data Specialist gathers and analyzes clinical information. This role should be based in the Charleston, WV region to allow the Clinical Data Specialist to report to the regional office in Charelston on a regular basis.

Qualifications
- Nurse or CNA preferred.
- We are open to a non-clinical individual who has the ability to quickly learn to gather and analyze Clinical Information.
- Based in or near Charleston, WV.
- Support the Divisional Infection Prevention Department through extraction, analysis, and preparation of data for the purpose of public health reporting, external benchmarking, and quality improvement projects.
- Produce daily and periodic tables, charts, graphs, and reports to assist in clinical operations and management.
- Assist with data entry and analysis for the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) and state regulatory programs such as RedCap.
- Assist in the development of internal auditing tools and manage the data collection.
- Prepare data for regulatory and accrediting agency reviews and surveys.
- Work collaborataively with facility leaders to improve systems which result in improved accuracy and timeliness of data reporting.
