What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Entry Specialist- COVID position at CommuniCare Health Services?
Data Specialist is responsible for supporting the Divisional Infection Prevention Department through extraction, analysis and preparation of data for the purpose of public health reporting, external benchmarking, and quality improvement projects.
Produces daily and periodic tables, charts, graphs, and reports to assist in clinical operations and management.
Assists with data entry and analysis for the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) and state regulatory programs such as RedCap.
Assists in the development of internal auditing tools and manages the data collection.
Prepares data for regulatory and accrediting agency reviews and surveys.
Works collaboratively with facility leaders to improve systems which result in improved accuracy and timeliness of data reporting.
