Communicare Health Services is now recruiting to fill the key position of Divisional Director of MDS / Assessment Reimbursement.
We are looking for an RN with a high level of MDS management experience to join the CommuniCare family! This position will cover CommuniCare's facilities in the Midwest region, which includes Ohio, Indiana, and St. Louis, Missouri, and will require travel to facilities in the area as needed. The Divisional Director of MDS / Assessment Reimbursement will by a dynamic and detail-oriented RN / BSN with experience in the MDS and RAI process and Medicare / Medicaid / Managed Care reimbursement.

Position Requirements

Responsibilities Will Include
- Ensure a coordination of quality care to residents, from pre-admission through discharge. A primary focus is the resident assessment process, which includes individual assessment, MDS assessment, and resident plan of care.
- Evaluate facility compliance to federal regulations and targets for utilization.
- Recurring visits to facilities for intervention, audit and training.
- Review resident clinical records for coverage, utilization, errors, assessments and accurate transmission.
- Provide consultation and expertise in the area of specific federal and state reimbursement systems.

Position Requirements
- Current RN/BSN license in the state or states covered
- At least two years of experience with Federal Medicare/Medicaid and Managed Care reimbursement system management in working with the MDS and RAI process
- AANAC certification a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and oversee functions at multiple facilities on a daily basis
- Previous Multi-Facility MDS experience
- Travel throughout the region
