1st and 2nd Shifts Available
Rate $14-15 / hour

PURPOSE/BELIEF STATEMENT:
The position of Security Guard is responsible for ensuring a safe environment for the staff and residents.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct security rounds daily inside and outside the facility.
- Ensure that the necessary doors are locked.
- Escort employees to automobiles.
- Provide transportation for employees using the company caravan.
- Report any suspicious activity to the appropriate persons and/or authorities at once.
- Maintain and work within established departmental and home office policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
- Participate in and provide scheduled training, educational classes, and orientation programs to maintain knowledge of team members and enhance quality of care.
- Perform other related activities as assigned or requested.
- Must have 1 year previous experience as a security guard.
- Military background and/or CPI (crisis prevention) certification preferred.
- We are willing to help right candidate who meets criteria to obtain certification.
- Must have a clean driving record in the state the center is located.
- Must possess a valid State Driver License in the state the center is located.
