Overnight Mobile Crisis Clinician- Per Diem
This is an overnight per diem position. The hours for both weekdays and weekends are 10pm-8:30am. There is a minimum requirement of six shifts per month.
The pay for the position is as follows:
Weekday Shift: $225 per shift and $350 per mobile run
Weekend Shift: $375 per shift and $350 per mobile run
Holiday Weekday Shift: $425 per shift and $350 per mobile run
Holiday Weekend Shift: $575 per shift and $350 per mobile run
POSITION SUMMARY: Per Diem after-hours, overnight and weekend mobile crisis position for clinicians with LCSW, APRN, or PhD certifications. Training requirements for emergency certificate to place consumers in crisis in hospital for further psychiatric assessment. This position requires driving to the location with police escort for psychiatric assessment.
Accountable and responsible for the following results:
- Provide mobile crisis and assessment services for all hours committed to on the monthly schedule;
- Attend training of approximately 2-4 hours prior to performing the duties of crisis service clinician;
- Consistent attendance at regular monthly program meetings;
- Attend the SCCS Annual Training in June from 9am-4pm;
- Complete monthly on-call schedule in monthly staff meeting or email and, if absent for meeting, will submit request for preferred dates to Director of Crisis Services prior to the staff meeting.
- Fully complete all on-call clinical documentation and fax forms to the on-call crisis clinician within 2 hours of the mobile visit;
- Inform Director of Crisis Services when unable to perform scheduled duties and make every effort to arrange for coverage by another clinician;
- Inform Director of Crisis Services of all HIPAA violations immediately;
- Complete the Annual Employee Satisfaction Survey within 14 days of distribution;
- Complete the Annual Inter-rater Questionnaire with 14 days of distribution;
- Review and follow all CommuniCare and SCCS policies and procedures; Contact the Director of Crisis Services as outlined in the SCCS Policy and Procedure Manual.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in behavioral health field (MSW, Master’s in Nursing or doctorate in clinical psychology preferred).

Significant experience in clinical risk assessment and independent management of clinically complex issues.
PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE CERTIFICATIONS
-
Current CT LCSW/APRN, LPC and LMFT.
