What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator Supervision 8631 position at Communicare KY?
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the clinical board required supervision of licensed staff required to be under board appointed discipline specific supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed as a psychologist (LCP), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), License Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) currently eligible to discipline specific supervision. Preference for (1) year experience providing discipline specific supervision. Must provide own transportation.
SKILL SETS: Possesses superior organizational, oral, and written communication skills. Must demonstrate a familiarity with Microsoft Office and exceptional customer service skills.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIORMENTAL DEMANDS: Must have visual acuity sufficient to read a variety of written reports and documents; hearing needed sufficient to understand spoken communications by phone and face-to-face with many staff, consumers, and external sources. Travel required to other facilities.
JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
- Provide clinical supervision to related discipline or area of practice in accordance to relevant State Board requirements and Communicare policy.
- Maintain accurate supervision records in accordance with Communcare policy and requirements of relevant State Boards.
- Ensures that assigned supervisee is in compliance with all applicable state licensure regulations and standards.
- Coordinates and communicate with relevant administrative supervisors to asses' job performance and assists supervisee to initiates resolutions in consultation with appropriate administrative staff.
- Participates in training for therapist interns and other designated students.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Adheres to Communicare, Inc. policies and procedures.
- Attends mandatory in-services and other training/educational programs as required.
