Job Description

This full-time position is primarily located at our Fort Worth headquarters primarily providing technical service support over the phone and/or video for our vast array of municipal, education, healthcare, and corporate customers as well as for our Service Team administrators. It may require some onsite technical assistance at some locations.

This is a rare opportunity to become part of only a few companies in North Texas that design, install and service the entire Notifier fire alarm portfolio. This includes the Inspire and Onyx Series, Fire Warden, and Bi-directional Amplifiers. Communication Concepts is a 35-year-old company based in Dallas-Fort Worth and has been awarded the highest partner level in the Notifier Partner Program. As a member of a factory-authorized Platinum Level Notifier team, you will not only have access to Notifier systems but will have the competitive advantage of extending the basic Notifier 3-year warranty to the PLATINUM Notifier 7-year warranty on the Notifier materials used for any fire alarm system.

Systems of Technical Expertise

  • Emergency communication systems
  • Fire alarm systems
  • Access control systems
  • Video surveillance systems
  • Intrusion detection systems
  • Master clock systems
  • Nurse call systems
  • Public address systems
  • Prefer One or More of the Following Certifications or Licenses
  • Fire Alarm License (FAL)
  • Fire Alarm Planning Superintendent License (APS)
  • NICET Certification(s)
  • Texas Online Private Security (TOPS) License
  • BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Certification
  • AVIXA CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D Certification(s)

Applicable Technical Skills

  • Expert use of a multimeter
  • Knowledge of relay logic is a plus
  • Cable installation, labeling, and termination
  • Experience in other low-voltage systems
  • Competency working with Excel spreadsheets
  • Proficient in reading and accurately interpreting blueprints, addenda, and technical specifications
  • Experienced communication skills
  • Excellent customer service experience in an office environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
