Join professional team working to ensure all loan documents adhere to established credit union policies and regulations. As the Loan Clerk you will be responsible for administrative tasks to support all operations of the Loan Servicing department.
Who You Are
- A collaborative individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to organize and prioritize workflow.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to operate office equipment including a switchboard.
- Familiar with credit union lending policy and procedures.
- Able to perform basic mathematical functions.
What You'll Do
- Maintain documentation, records, and logs for liens and out of state titles.
- Process loan payoff and lien release requests.
- Assist in auditing loan documentation.
- Post pay-by-phone payments.
- Handle general office tasks and answers job-related phone calls.
- Serve as backup receptionist as needed.
- Other responsibilities as required.
Education and Experience
- 1 year office experience, preferably at a financial institution
- High school diploma or GED
