Cleans and keeps in an orderly condition commissary’s work, store, office and restroom areas. Duties involve a combination of the following: Sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and waxing & polishing floors; removing chips, trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, store shelves or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; minor maintenance; and cleaning lavatories, and restrooms.
Requirements:
Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, repetitive bending, and other activities necessary to perform job duties

This is a federal contract, as such employees receive a Health and Welfare (H & W) benefit in accordance with the Service Contract Act (SCA) per hour for the first 40 hours in a week. The current H & W rate at this location is $2.50 per hour paid to employee and $2.60 per hour paid to union health fund, up to 40 hours per week. The hourly rate of pay for this position is $18.52.
