Schofield Barracks - Material Handler
Communication Methods, LLC is a leading solutions provider for federal customers in the areas of facilities, logistics, training and management services.
This is a federal contract in the State of Hawaii, as such employees receive a Health and Welfare benefit in accordance with the Service Contract Act (SCA) and Hawaii Prepaid Medical Care Act. The current H & W rate at this location is $1.74 per hour or $4.57 per hour, subject to change in accordance with applicable regulations. The hourly rate of pay for this position is $17.71.
Performs a variety of warehousing duties. Work involves most of the following: Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages; routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, segregating or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; removing material from storage and preparing it for stocking. May operate hand or power trucks; forklift in performing warehousing duties.
Requirements:
Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, repetitive bending, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
