INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPERVISOR
We are seeking an Information Technology Supervisor to support our Power Electronics Division. The supervisor will provide work direction and support CPI s workspace team and provide ongoing operational support of infrastructure services. This will include supporting new implementations while continuing to improve Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance, customer support, and process and procedure efficiency. This individual will work closely with the VP of Business Operations and the Corporate IT organization to maximize resources and improve the overall end-user experience
YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
- Leading department operational planning and projects; organize and prioritize allocation of IT resources.
- Enforcing, creating and maintaining standard operating procedures.
- Providing operational leadership and mentoring to team members to develop skills and maintain a cohesive and collaborative team.
- Practicing IT asset management, including maintenance of device inventory, site specific applications and related documentation.
- Overseeing and help manage existing and new client-server business and engineering applications.
- Oversight of the deployment and maintenance of personal computer operating system images, virtual desktops, and other application delivery platforms.
- Defining, managing, and driving improvement in key performance indicators, including first-tier ticket resolution and SLA performance.
- Coordinating with the Cybersecurity team to maintain a strong security posture on end-user devices leveraging GPOs, Intune, Defender, BitLocker, and Carbon Black.
- Working with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.
- Working closely with other leaders to maximize usage of Fresh works Ticketing System, incident management, and standardized catalog tasks.
- Supporting and Resolving Incident and Service Request User Tickets
YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:
- Post secondary education in computer sciences or related field with 7 years of job-related infrastructure operations experience
- 3 years of supervisory/management experience
- Experience working in a global IT shared service environment.
- Proficient understanding of Microsoft Access Databases
- Proficient understanding of Microsoft Excel, including Macros
- Experience with ERP systems, JDE, SQL Server, & MySQL is an asset
- Understanding of Service Level Agreements and First-Tier Resolution Rate concepts
- Experience with Fresh works, ServiceNow, Remedy or other ITSM Toolset.
- Understanding of configuration distribution systems such as GPO, MECM, SCCM and Intune
- Understanding of MFA, RSA, SSO, and Active Directory
- Understanding of Microsoft O365, EXO, SPO, and OneDrive
- Knowledge of endpoint security tools
- Available for non-business hours support for emergencies or to support major IT changes to the environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and skills
- Ability to travel to the US & Europe.

- Must be able to meet Canadian Controlled Goods requirements.
